Pregnancy
Steady, caring support through every trimester, so you never have to carry your questions alone.
Pregnancy brings so much change, and not all of it is easy to name. Some days you feel wonder. Other days you feel tired, unsure, or simply unlike yourself. I am here for all of it. As your doula I offer non-medical support alongside your midwife and your doctor - someone to answer your questions, sit with your worries, and help you feel informed and at ease. We can talk about your body, your feelings, your hopes for the birth, or nothing in particular. Whatever you're feeling, it has a place here.
Who this is for
This is for you if you're pregnant and would like steady company through the months ahead. Perhaps it's your first baby and everything feels new. Perhaps you've done this before, and this time feels different. Maybe you're far from your own family, in a city whose language and healthcare system still feel unfamiliar. We can talk in English, French or Slovak, so you never have to search for words. Your partner is welcome too, whenever you'd like them there.
What happens
We start with a call
A free discovery call, with no cost and no obligation. You share where you are, ask me anything, and get a feel for how I work.
We meet at your pace
Together we decide how often to see each other, online or in Brussels. That can be one good conversation. It can also be company through all three trimesters.
We talk about what matters to you
Your questions, your comfort, your hopes for the birth. I can share information and options, and help you gather the questions you want to ask your midwife or your doctor.
You stay held in between
You can write to me between our meetings. You don't have to save a worry until the next appointment.
Common questions
Are you replacing my midwife or my gynaecologist?
No. A doula gives non-medical support only. I don't carry out clinical checks, give medical advice, or make decisions for you. Your midwife and your doctor look after the medical side. I look after you as a person, right beside them.
When should I get in touch?
Whenever it feels right. You can write to me early in the first trimester, or in the final weeks. There is no deadline and no wrong moment. If you would like support now, now is a good time.
What if I don't know what I want yet?
That's normal, and it isn't something you need to sort out before we talk. Not knowing is a fine place to start. Part of my work is helping you find your own answers, at your own pace, without nudging you towards mine.
How do we begin?
With a free discovery call. No cost, no obligation, and nothing you have to decide afterwards. If it feels right for both of us, we'll take the next step together. If it doesn't, that is completely fine too.
